Who is Pretrial?
Pretrial Services is a Travis County Program that acts as a liaison between the jail and the courts, as well as the courts and the public. These are the officers who conduct the interviews to determine if someone qualifies to get released from jail for free on a personal bond. They also monitor defendants released on conditions during their cases.
If you have questions after a loved one has been arrested, calling Pretrial Services (512- 854-9381) is a good idea. They can give you helpful information and let you know the status of a particular defendant.
